Rubber roofing

Finally time to actually start on the rubber roof.  That plastic I put down held up surprisingly well for how long it was there.

Had to put in the extra railing posts and a rail for the side since I don't want any water going that way.  It looks crooked, but it's just the slope of the flat roof.

I also decided to put in some blocking so water couldn't pool in front of those two posts on the side.  Later I'd find out this was a mistake.

 Everything is prepped.

I couldn't really take pictures while I was doing it, but this is it after the latex adhesive for the majority of the flat part is done.
As I was down working on the sides and stuff, I noticed that it felt like the roof was burning my knees.  It was 76F outside and sunny...  I ended up spraying the roof with some water a bunch of times and that helped it a lot.

Many hours of frustration later it's done.  Dealing with this is definitely the worst thing on the house so far and hopefully it stays that way.  Basically all of the adhesive stuff after that first latex stuff was a huge pain because it would stick in the wrong place.  Luckily the creases are covered up by house wrap and the siding.
